Chakadola is a light and sound programme on emergence of Lord Jagannath.
A unique and one of its kind programme in the country which traces the emergence of Lord Jagannath narrating the sequences from the Mahabharat war, narrates essence of significance of worship and the benefits of surrender to God. A visual treat with captivating devotional song and music.
The programme is an attempt to arouse divine feelings in the devotees and connect them to the cosmic energy of Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe.
Based on video mapping projection technique the programme is a technological marvel. The projection has been made possible on the irregular and undulated contours of Temple architecture to the delight of viewers overcoming several challenges.
The show is organised on request in advance for devotees an a contribution of Rs. 3000/- and accommodation 60 devotees. The opinion of Hindi and Telugu version of the show is available.
Annadanam as a religious service is underdateke by the Temple on regular basis. Annadanam is also undertaken on behalf of devotees on their contribution for the purpose. At times annadanam is organized in different locations by the city.
